Dan Behnke
Daniel Behnke taught courses in communication at the University of Dayton from 2000-2011.
Currently, he is teaching Intermediate Video Production (MAC 211), Foundations of Production (MJF 146), Professional Communication for Business (BUS 284) and Principles of Public Speaking online (STC 135). Previously, he has also taught TV Studio Production (MAC 312), and has co-directed a study abroad program in the UK entitled Inside London (MAC 499).
Behnke started developing and teaching Miami's first Public Speaking course online to fulfill Miami's online course development initiatives and was a member of the Top 25 E-Faculty Learning Community which was designed to continually develop top 25 courses online. He was also a member of the Faculty Learning Community entitled: Shaping CAS Online Curriculum 2014 to 2020.
Behnke is continually interested in opportunities related to developing and utilizing technologies to enhance the face to face and e-learning environment, and he enjoys working with other faculty members to help them develop their e-learning initiatives and integrating media and technology in courses. He also serves as the media technology specialist where he manages the equipment center for the department.
