Jason is a Professionally Accredited Statistician (Pstat), a Professor of Statistics, and a consultant/collaborator/author in the area of applied statistics and data analytics. He is the author of numerous books, articles, presentations, and whitepapers on best practices in statistics and data analysis. He currently serves as Chair of the Statistics Department.
He has served as a leader in higher education in addition to being a scholar and teacher. Most recently, he served as Miami University's Executive Vice President and Provost, and prior to that, Dean of Clemson University's Graduate School. He served as department chair for the University of Louisville's Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology and interim chair of the Department of Health and Sport Science.
