Karey Davis
Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor
Karey Davis is the Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor for the Physician Associate Studies Program. She has been a full-time clinician since graduating from Butler University’s PA program in 2003 and maintains her Athletic Training certification since graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from Ball State University. She has experience in multiple specialties including Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Rheumatology and Spine Surgery. She has also completed the PA Foundation’s Nutrition Outreach Program and is currently involved in the Mental Health First Aid Outreach fellowship. She has a passion for students and has been involved as a preceptor as well as a guest lecturer for several years. She enjoys educating students and developing that relationship as they grow and become future clinicians. She serves on the Mallory-Wilson Center for Healthcare Education board of directors at Miami University and is involved in several campus organizations.

Research, Scholarship Interests, Professional
Interests include Mental Health, Nutrition and student involvement. Currently a speaker for Boston Scientific on lumbar spinal stenosis (LSS) and minimally invasive procedures for LSS. Also currently involved in a retrospective study involving patients who have undergone the Vertiflex procedure for LSS.
