
Sarah M. T. Dorr
About
Sarah Dorr is the William McIntyre Pre-health Professions advisor at Miami University. Before joining the staff at the Mallory-Wilson Center, Sarah served as an advisor for Miami's Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering. Her prior experience includes serving as a Professional Advisor and Adjunct Professor at Thomas More University, where she predominantly advised students in natural and health science majors. She additionally has worked as an Academic Advisor and Adjunct Professor at Mount St. Joseph University and Chatfield College.
She began her career working as an employment counselor and then worked with exploratory students at the University of Cincinnati, Career Development Center. While attending college, Sarah served as a Combat Medic Specialist in the Ohio Army National Guard. The culmination of her experiences led to her current position with the Mallory-Wilson Center. Overall, her professional journey demonstrates a clear dedication to fostering academic achievement and helping students navigate their educational and career trajectories.
