Jeff Smith

Jeff is a Senior Partner at Prophet, rated one of the best management consulting firms (Forbes 2022) focused on growth and transformation. Prophet offers a unique depth of capabilities at the intersection of strategy and creativity, including Marketing and Sales, Organization and Culture, Experience and Innovation, and Brand and Activation. Jeff has been a leader within Prophet for more than 20 years, having lived in Zurich, Switzerland, to open Prophet’s offices across Europe, as well as founding the Chicago office where he and his Miami Merger wife (Heather McLaughlin, ’90) and family currently reside. He also leads culture and team building within the entire Prophet organization.  Prior to Prophet, Jeff worked with AT&T and a Healthcare start-up. Jeff points to his Miami education as a key cultivator of his success, providing a strong foundation of collaboration, community and creativity.  He is a founding Board member of the Winnetka Music Festival, supporting emerging artists and promoting new music while entertaining 6K+ Chicagoans annually. He is proud to have been deeply involved in supporting the Greater Chicago Food Depository for the past decade.
