Honggang Yu, Ph.D.

Biography

I am currently a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Miami University. Before joining MU, I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida (UF) in 2025. My research interests lie at the intersection of deep learning and cybersecurity, with a focus on developing intelligent methods to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats targeting hardware vulnerabilities.
