Sukran Kulekci

Biographical Information

Sukran has over 25 years of engineering expertise in security and privacy, along with substantial experience in administrative roles. She holds BS and MSc degrees in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University,Turkiye and another MSc in Computer Science from Marmara University, Turkiye. Her career began as a university research assistant, followed by a role at Turkiye’s National Research Institute of Electronics and Cryptology, where she worked as a cryptography engineer. There, she focused on cryptographic algorithm design and analysis for efficient implementation. Later, as a senior leader at the institute, she directed teams on national and international projects, bridging technical staff with clients and launching ”science for society” initiatives to introduce data security concepts to young audiences.
