Ms. Bridget Maloney, M.S., ACSM-CEP, graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and went on to attend Ohio University and graduate with a Master’s of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2024. During grad school, she served as a Graduate Assistant for the undergraduate exercise physiology labs and taught CPR/AED/First Aid training through the American Heart Association. She completed her rotational internship doing stress testing at OSU Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehab, and inpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehab at OSU. After passing the ACSM exam, she began working at OSU Wexner Medical Center as part of the Inpatient Cardiopulmonary and Vascular Rehab team. She also serves on the OACVPR board as Secretary. Bridget loves the fast pace of working inpatient and getting to be a part of such a critical time in the patient’s life. She is excited to share more about exercise physiology and the impact we have on a patient’s course of rehabilitation.
