Biography
Ms. Taylor Black earned her B.S. in Kinesiology and Health with a Premedical Studies co-major and Medical Sociology (Humanities) minor. During her time at Miami, she helped co-found two new organizations on campus, the American Medical Women’s Association and Ethics in Medicine. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Presidential Distinguished Service Award, Senior Service Leadership Awards in Service to Campus Life & Intellectual, and in Cultural Leadership. She is currently a clinical research coordinator at The University of Cincinnati in the trauma surgery and critical care department. In her job, she helps facilitate over a dozen studies and clinical trials throughout the hospital. Through this, she is expanding her knowledge and passion for the medical field before continuing her education.
