Dan Sinetar
Born and raised in Cortland, NY, Dan Sinetar joined the Global Initiatives team at Miami University in 2018. He directs the Global Partner Summer School and leads a variety of ISSS programs and initiatives, including the International Student Center. Dan is also a graduate student at Miami and currently a candidate in the Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technology program.
Previously, he worked in Hunan, China for ten years. Prior to this, he knew nothing of China nor a word of Chinese. He graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from American University, where he was an NCAA swimmer. He learns something new every day, rides his bike to work at least once a week (aspirationally and in good weather), likes exploring new-to-them places with Wen-Sinetar family and meditates as much as he can.
