Biography

Dan Sinetar joined the Global Initiatives team at Miami University in 2018. He develops and manages a portfolio of global partner programs, oversees the International Student Center, and leads a variety of other global learning programs and initiatives. Dan is also a graduate student at Miami and currently a candidate in the Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technology program.

Previously, he worked in Hunan, China for ten years. Prior to this, he knew nothing of China nor a word of Chinese. He graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from American University, where he was an NCAA swimmer. He learns something new every day, rides his bike to work most days, likes exploring new-to-them places with Wen-Sinetar family and meditates as much as he can.
