Biography
Bishal Bhandari joined the Myaamia Center as an Application Software Developer IV in 2025, bringing extensive experience in full-stack software development and a deep commitment to supporting the Center's educational and cultural revitalization goals. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering at Tribhuvan University in Nepal and earned his Master of Computer Science from Miami University in 2025.
While pursuing his master’s degree Bishal served as a Graduate Assistant at the Myaamia Center from January 2024 to August 2025 to develop and maintain websites, databases, and other software applications in support of the Center's educational programs. After completing his master’s degree and joining the Myaamia Center as a full-time software developer he takes a lead role as a member of the technology team to advance the Center's technological capabilities in support of Myaamia language and cultural revitalization efforts. Bishal’s commitment to the Center's work extends beyond technical contributions; he brings enthusiasm for contributing to meaningful projects that preserve and revitalize Indigenous language and culture, making him excited to continue supporting the Myaamia Center's goals.
