Biography
Gloria is a citizen of the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma and has been actively involved in the Tribe’s cultural revitalization efforts as a community member and cultural educator.
Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Gloria currently resides in Michigan and works for the Myaamia Center remotely. She attended Miami University through the Myaamia Heritage Award Program and received her undergraduate degree in English Language Arts Education with a certificate in Teaching English Language Learners in 2019. Gloria taught middle school students while continuing to work with the Miami Tribe as a program coordinator for the Eewansaapita summer programs.
Gloria joined the Myaamia Center in 2025 to further cultural education efforts for the Myaamia diaspora. Gloria’s work supports the development of the Miami Tribe’s online educational resources and creates digital learning materials for remote learners.
