Biography
As the Assistant Director of Education Abroad at Xavier University, Shasta supports study abroad programming for undergraduate and graduate students. She previously managed a team of environment educators at the Greenacres Foundation and managed interpretive exhibits and conservation education programs at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Over the years, Shasta has taught various Dragonfly courses, including Earth Expeditions in Kenya, Costa Rica, Belize, and Namibia. Shasta received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Southern Illinois University and a Master of Science in Zoology from Miami University with a focus on animal behavior and ecology.
