Laura Chappell joined the Student Transitions and Family Engagement team in June 2026. Originally from London, United Kingdom, Laura moved to Texas in 2018. She earned her bachelor's degree in Communication from St. Edward's University in 2024 and her master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Southern Methodist University in 2026. Laura has been involved in student transitions and family engagement since her undergraduate years, beginning as a parent and family orientation leader at her undergraduate institution. She is excited to welcome new students and their families to the Miami community and support them as they navigate their college journey.
