About JS:

JS (They/He) has been at Miami for longer than most of our students have been alive. Starting in 2005 JS has worked in Student Activities on Programming, Leadership, and Involvement. Serving Miami student is the best thing they could choose to do with their life. "A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives." -Jackie Robinson They are a member of the board for NASAGA, the North American Simulation And Gaming Association and is our local geek focused on how to use games, LEGO, simulations, and other activities to help our students learn and grow. In 2023 they completed their training in facilitating and designing workshops with the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY method as well as having a certificate in educational game design. They enjoy spending time with their wife Jennifer and dog Selina, going to Reds game, advising the organizations they advise, and playing and learning with games and LEGO.
