Dr. Michelle Buchberger holds a BA in English and Music from the West London Institute of Education, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from Nottingham University, an MA in Literature (Victorian Poetry) from The Open University, and a PhD in English Literature from Brunel University.  She teaches both Integrative Studies and English classes at Miami, and her research areas include teaching in the field of Interdisciplinary Studies, Creativity, and Post World War Two British Literature (specifically the work of John Fowles).  She is a member of the Association of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS), and she helped co-found the national honors society for the AIS (Alpha Iota Sigma).
