Aubrey Steele
Aubrey Steele (Humanities): “My advice would be to take full advantage of all the academic resources on campus. Going out of your way to get help from the library, Tutoring and Learning Center, and using your professor’s office hours are a great opportunity for success at Miami Regionals.”
Tirzah Lee
Tirzah Lee (Liberal Studies): “My time at Miami University has really shaped me both academically and personally. Over the past few years, I’ve learned how to manage my time, push through challenges, and stay disciplined even when things aren't easy. Beyond the classroom, I’ve grown in my confidence and independence. I’ve learned how to communicate better, think critically, and adapt to different situations that I know I’ll carry with me into whatever comes next.”
Hailey Jackson
Hailey Jackson (Criminal Justice): “Going to Miami Regionals was so personable. I didn’t feel like just a number here, and I always knew that I could receive help from my professors if I needed it. They always knew everyone’s names in the class, and they always took the time to get to know everyone. I don’t think I would have gotten that same experience at a larger campus.”
Lacie Tedrick
Lacie Tedrick (Digital Commerce): “I’ll miss most about Miami Regionals, the close knit community, and the friends you see everyday.”
Lori Osterberger
Lori Osterberger (Digital Commerce): “Don't think you can't do it. You absolutely can do it. Use the many resources available on the Regionals' campus and don't hesitate to ask for support. The faculty and staff are there to help guide you and truly want you to succeed.”
Gabriella Shanks
Gabriella Shanks (Natural Sciences, Mathematics): “The Regionals allowed me to participate in fun activities and meet new people. Everyone was super welcoming and it made me feel like I belonged here.”
Rachel Finnerty
Rachel Finnerty (Digital Commerce): “I have loved my experience. Every professor has been so kind, understanding, and adaptable and I really have received an excellent education at such a fair price. I loved the flexibility of online. It allowed me to work and learn in the way that works best for me without sacrificing the quality of information I'm receiving.”
Jettie Burkhead
Jettie Burkhead (Computer and Information Technology): “One thing that stuck with me while at the Regionals is that consistency matters more than motivation. Whether it’s staying on top of work, school, or even personal goals, I’ve learned that showing up every day and doing the small things adds up way more than waiting until you feel motivated."
Niah Craig
Niah Craig (Forensic Investigation): “I would tell others starting at Miami Regionals to never be scared to ask questions, be yourself unapologetically, no matter what! Create a study buddy in each class. Be respectful inside and outside of class, and be considerate to others. Keep an open mind, and you'll learn more than you ever expected!”
