ISIS is a prominent terrorist group that was, and continues to be, the cornerstone of modern terrorism. Even though they had a slower rise and started out as a group stemming out of Al-Qaeda, they were pivotal in how the media was harnessed and used in regards to terrorism and quickly morphed into their own group with their own infamy.
