Thinking for future science teachers, why are students so intimidated to take a physics course? Is it because physics concepts go against students’ common sense? Does what students see in their everyday life contradict what students learn in the classroom? I decided to explore these questions specifically relating to Newton's Third Law of Motion. I admistered a google form to Miami students taking physics to explore how they think about this law.
