First Workday Student Town Hall a success

Unlocking what's next with Workday Student: Streamlined Processes, Improved Data Access, and an Enhanced Student Experience

First Workday Student Town Hall a success

The Workday Student Organizational Change Management (OCM) team hosted the first in a series of virtual Town Hall meetings on Tuesday, July 29.

Well over 300 participants registered for the event, emphasizing the critical nature of this project and the need for the Miami community to learn more.

For those who may have missed it, this was an opportunity for our project team to share an overview of the project to date, a detailed timeline, a review of systems impacted, info on our training plan, and a brief demo of one of the new Workday Student functionalities. If you want to see a playback, we have a video recording of the meeting. We will continue to hold periodic open forums related to Workday Student throughout the upcoming academic year, so there will be additional opportunities to come learn more about what is to come.

Our Workday Student implementation team continues to work hard, making critical configuration decisions related to Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Financials, Curriculum, Registration, Advising, and Student Records. Student functionality will be rolled out in phases as it is tested and finalized, wrapping up in Fall 2026.
