For over 60 years, Miami University’s Speech and Hearing Clinic has met the speech and audiology needs of tri-state residents with state-of-the-art technology and personalized care. All of our providers are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and committed to providing effective and individualized assessment and treatment for communication disorders in individuals of all ages. At the MU Speech & Hearing Clinic, we consider best available evidence, clinical expertise, and client and family needs in order to support and improve the communication of each of our clients.

Clinic Mission Statement
Speaking, hearing, and understanding are essential to human communication. A communication disorder can affect the way a person interacts with others – often interfering with social, vocational, and educational success. Our mission at the Miami University Speech and Hearing Clinic is to serve the speech, language, and hearing needs of individuals by enhancing the quality of their communication skills. We are committed to providing cost effective services that meet the unique needs of all individuals and their families, and to promoting excellence in clinical training of future speech-language-hearing professionals.
