Miami Integrated Learning Office
Miami University recently restructured how it delivers on our commitment to liberal education and undergraduate research through the creation of the Miami Integrated Learning Office (MILO).
What is the Miami Integrated Learning Office (MILO)?
MILO merges the former Office of Liberal Education and Office of Research for Undergraduates. MILO manages all general education programming, including the current Miami Plan and the forthcoming Miami Integrated Learning Experience (MILE), launching for incoming students beginning fall 2027. The office fosters undergraduate research and mentorship, supports innovative curricular development and planning, champions professional and experiential learning, and oversees program assessment.
MILO supports faculty, staff, and students in multiple ways as they engage in integrated education at Miami. We work directly with the Office of the Provost, academic divisions and departments, Student Life, the Center for Career Exploration and Success, and Enrollment Management and Student Success to support students and faculty.
