Lauren Pulte, JRN ‘09, is now the corporate communications manager at the Chicago Tribune and the Tribune Media Group properties, which includes Chicago Magazine and RedEye. She also will assist in the corporate communication initiatives for tronc (formerly Tribune Publishing.) Pulte previously worked at the Onion for two years.

Brett Hoffland, JRN '10, is a now a reporter at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Sarah Salbu, STC '10, is a senior account executive at SHIFT Communications, a public relations and communication firm in Boston.

Lorraine Boissoneault, GLS/ENG ‘12, is a history writer for the digital version of the Smithsonian Magazine in Washington, D.C. She has a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and has published a novel, “The Last Voyageurs,” which details the true story of 24 men who canoed 3,300 miles across North America to reenact the Mississippi expedition of La Salle.

Molly Shanks, JRN '12, recently relocated to LA, has a new job at story assistant on ABC's Dancing W/ the Stars. Her new job involves mostly field work which is similar to her previous job at WGN's Chicago Best.

Kelly Stincer, JRN/MAC ‘15, is a public information officer with the Ohio Department of Commerce, where she plans and directs public information activities of the Division of the State Fire Marshal. She previously held the position of content assistant at MediaSource.

Greta Hallberg, JRN ’16, Inside Washington alum and Up fashion magazine editor -- has just moved back to D.C. to do a fellowship with Anne Lewis Strategies, which does digital fundraising for Dems and progressive nonprofits (Sandy Hook Promise, Environmental Working Group, etc.). Greta previously worked as an intern with American Public Media’s Marketplace’s DC bureau and with U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota.

Emily Tate, JRN ’16, has a fellowship with the Chronicle of Higher Education.
