Our GEO 459 Advanced Planning students work in teams as consulting planners for community clients. The City of Hamilton has been a great partner in this for the past 10 years, not only collaborating but also taking student work seriously by adopting it as addenda to their comprehensive Plan Hamilton. This past spring one team worked with the City, Miami, and neighborhood groups to develop a vision for the vicinity of Miami Hamilton as an "Innovation District."
