Interior Design student Alexandra Kasson awarded NEWH scholarship
NEWH is an international hospitality industry community that provides scholarships, education, leadership development, recognition of excellence, and business development opportunities to others.
Interior Design and Sustainability major Alexandra Kasson received a $2,500 scholarship from the Cincinnati Chapter of the Hospitality Industry Network (NEWH).
NEWH is an international hospitality industry community that provides scholarships, education, leadership development, recognition of excellence, and business development opportunities to others. Members of NEWH are professionals actively engaged in development, management/operations, architecture, communications, design, distribution, education, manufacturing, production, purchasing, and sales to the Hospitality, Foodservice, Senior Living and related industries. NEWH aims to promote the education of eligible students aspiring to enter the Hospitality, Foodservice, Senior Living and related industries.
“I am so grateful to have won this scholarship and to be representing the interior design community at Miami University,” said Kasson.
Kasson is Vice President of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) at Miami and is a member of Alpha Rho Chi, which is a professional architecture fraternity. She expects to graduate in 2024.
