Second Annual SparkFest to take place Friday, April 14
Calling all creatives!
This year’s SparkFest will take place from 1-5pm on Friday, April 14th in the courtyard outside of the Center for Performing Arts.
The event celebrates and exposes audiences to the artistic elements of the university. Involving all five of CCA’s departments, participants can enjoy things like theatre, visual art, a cappella singing, and much more! Past performances include Just Duet, Stage Left, and student art vendors.
You can also get hands-on at SparkFest making pottery, messing with botanicals, drawing with various materials, or painting things like marbled canvases.
Visitors can also shop from student artists, sit down for music and theatre performances, and walk around exhibits.
Best of all, SparkFest is completely free—including games, pizza, and ice-cream. It’s open to anyone at Miami, so bring friends!
If you’re looking to showcase yourself or your organization on the mic, sign up for a slot before they fill up.
For other ways to get involved, email Josh Senger (sengerja@miamioh.edu) or Zoe Neubig (neubigzl@miamioh.edu). More details can be found on the website.
We hope to see your spark at SparkFest!
