Business in the Age of AI

Each year, the juniors in the Lilly Leadership Institute complete a major project. This year the students of Cohort 12 were responsible for organizing, hosting and supporting a conference titled ‘The New Era: AI + Customer Engagement.

Business in the Age of AI

On April 11, 2025, experts in these fields provided compelling insight. Our keynote speakers, Gurpreet Singh and Scott Likens, presented on Business in the Age of AI. We also had a virtual presentation from Priyanka Raj on Revolutionizing Customer Engagement: AI Trends and Real World Insights.

In attendance were students, Leadership Institute alums, Miami faculty and staff and industry leaders. A networking reception followed in the atrium of the McVey Data Science building. In support of the conference, students also created showcase projects where they presented their AI-driven solutions to enhance customer experiences. This provided an exceptional networking opportunity as well.

Speakers included:

  • Gurpreet Singh - Partner, Board Member, Global Health Leader at PwC
  • Scott Likens - Partner and Global Chief AI Engineer at PwC
  • Priyanka Raj (Virtual) - Berkeley Haas MBA and Former Project Marketing Manager
  • Charlie Haddad, Associate VP, IT, Chief Enterprise Business Architect at Eli Lilly and Company
