Instructor Honor Roll

Developed in collaboration with the Office of the Provost, the Instructor Honor Roll gives instructors across all Miami University campuses a place to view how their teaching has positively impacted students’ learning and development over the course of the semester. Each fall and spring semester, students are invited by Academic Affairs to submit to the Instructor Honor Roll with the following prompt: “Describe how this instructor's teaching has supported your learning and development this semester.”

Instructor Honor Roll Details

  • All submissions you see are also visible to the chair who is associated with your course’s department.
  • The Instructor Honor Roll captures positive, anecdotal, informal submissions from some of your students. It has no bearing on any performance metrics, nor is it a substitute for any evaluation processes such as midcourse evaluations, classroom observations, teaching reviews, or other means of documenting teaching effectiveness.
  • Instructor Honor Roll submissions will be cleared every semester on the last day of final exams. Because the previous semester’s submissions will no longer be available to view after that date, instructors who wish to save their submissions will need to save a copy. To save a copy of your submissions, right-click, select “Print,” and then “Save as PDF.”
