After Commencement

Commencement Photos & Video

Professional photos and video of commencement will be taken and available for purchase through GradImages. You will receive a separate mailing from GradImages with purchase details. Proofs of each graduate will be emailed and sent via regular mail to the graduates using the addresses on file with the university. Family members and friends can also pre-register their email and mailing information prior to commencement by clicking the "Pre-Event Registration" button on the upper right of the website menu.

Please allow one to two weeks after the graduation ceremony to order your transcripts. (Prior to ordering a transcript, we strongly recommend that you check your unofficial transcript on BannerWeb to see if your degree has been awarded.) To order your transcript, visit the National Student Clearinghouse Transcript Ordering Center. Please be advised that transcript orders are not held until your degree is posted, so if you need your degree information on your transcripts, do not order them until your degree has been awarded.

Career Services

Before you graduate this semester, you are welcome and encouraged to use the Center for Career Exploration and Success (CCES), 45 Armstrong Center, in your employment search. After graduation, Miami University alumni are provided career services through a partnership between the Miami University Alumni Association membership program and CCES.

Miami University Alumni Association

The Miami University Alumni Association joins with the entire Miami family in congratulating the Class of 2020! Your achievements are to be commended and we wish you well as you continue to pursue your dreams.

As you leave campus please know that your Alumni Association is always here to assist in any way we can. Your days on campus were only the beginning of your relationship with Miami. This is a life-long relationship and we encourage you to stay connected to the university. Alumni chapters throughout the country stand ready to welcome you to new communities, and by keeping us informed of your current address and e-mail, you will receive the alumni magazine and regular e-mail newsletters.

Additionally, there are many ways for you to assist and support the university: by recruiting new students to campus as a member of the Miami University Community Outreach and Recruiting Programs (MUCORP), returning to speak to a campus group, nominating yourself or a classmate to serve on the Young Alumni Council, becoming a dues-paying member, or providing financial support through the Annual Fund.

Finally, if you spent any time on Miami’s regional campuses in Hamilton or Middletown, we have established the Miami Regionals Alumni and Students group (MURALS). MURALS was designed to serve Regionals alumni with programming, professional development, and meaningful connections to their home campuses. For more information about MURALS, see Regional Campus Alumni or contact Ryan Young by email or phone at 513-785-7727.

Enjoy your final days on campus and take a moment to learn more about your Alumni Association.
