Miami nutrition students, faculty and alumni connect at the 2025 Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo

Miami University faculty, students and alumni with the current President of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Miami alumna Deanne Brandstetter in Nashville.

Faculty, students and alumni from Miami University’s nutrition program gathered in Nashville, Tennessee, for the 2025 Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo® (FNCE®), the world’s largest meeting of food and nutrition professionals. More than 6,000 attendees participated in this year’s event, including 25 Miami undergraduate and graduate students who explored education sessions, internship fairs and career opportunities. The Miami group’s participation was coordinated by Gretchen Brademan, director of the undergraduate nutrition program, and Lydia Ballenger, director of the nutrition graduate program and dietetic internship. Attendees also connected with alumna Deanne Brandstetter, president of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, reflecting the program’s strong engagement in national professional networks.
