EHS faculty and Discovery Center receive funding for interdisciplinary mental health education project

Miami University faculty members Ganiva Reyes, Racheal Rothrock, and Ann Mackenzie from the Department of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry, Angela Curl from the Department of Family Science and Social Work, and the Discovery Center received $30,000 in funding for a project titled Interdisciplinary Collaboration for Mental Health Teacher Education (ICMHTE).

The award, provided by the Ohio Department of Higher Education and the U.S. Department of Education, is administered through the University of Cincinnati and includes $26,151 in direct support for the project. Funding is effective from Sept. 3, 2025, through June 30, 2026.
