Miami faculty, students and alumna publish interdisciplinary literacy manuscript
Kelli Rushek, Ph.D., assistant professor of English education, Addie Taylor, Class of 2025 and current economics graduate student, Lada Gallant, AYA English language arts, Class of 2026, and Patricia Taylor, Kettering High School English language arts teacher, have published a peer-reviewed manuscript in The ALAN Review, a leading journal focused on the teaching and reading of young adult literature.
Their article, “Let Them Read with Us: Uncovering a (Raven) Cycle of Intergenerational, Shared Literacy Practices,” appears in volume 52, issue 3 of the journal.
