Kyle Timmerman, from the Department of Kinesiology, Nutrition, and Health, received the Mallory-Wilson Center Faculty/Staff Recognition Award, which honors one Miami University faculty or staff person each year who has demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment to undergraduate pre-medical training.

Students who nominated Timmerman said:

“Dr. Timmerman loves his students and truly wants to help them understand. He also works to develop a true connection with his students and keep the class fun.”

“He truly cares for his students, and he wants us to learn and love the content as much as he does, so he does everything he can to help us work through it without worrying or stressing over it.”
