Make your way to Oxford for Family Weekend, taking place October 16-18, 2026! Family Weekend is a signature event that brings students and their families together to celebrate student life at Miami. The weekend features athletic events, performances, and special programs that highlight student life, the Miami community, and the Oxford community. Whether you know him as Ron Swanson from Parks and Recreation, Bill from The Last of Us, Jinx from Margo's Got Money Troubles, an accomplished author, or a master woodworker, this is a Miami Family Weekend event you won't want to miss. Your Miami student gets the laughs. You get a night of memories together!

Saturday, Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m.

Experience college football gameday RedHawk-style as Miami Football takes on Akron! Purchase the Family Weekend Friends and Family package (minimum of four game tickets and includes a hat for each ticket purchased). Single-game tickets are also now on sale. Come early and enjoy the Pregame Fan Fest, featuring live music, food trucks, games, and more.

Plan Your Visit

  

Parking

On-Campus Parking

  • From noon on Friday, Oct. 16 to 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, Miami University will have free parking on all campus lots and streets that pass through campus (except for those around Millett Hall and Yager Stadium reserved for pre-sale or events).
  • No parking permits are required; parking meters, the Passport parking app, and garages are all free as well.
  • Parking restrictions still apply for designated or accessible parking spots.

City of Oxford Parking

  • Meters and parking restrictions will be enforced on Oxford city streets such as Campus Ave and throughout the Uptown district. Paid parking is also available at the public parking garage on the corner of Main and Walnut Streets.
  • There will be no parking on Saturday morning in the public lot on the corner of Main and Church Streets for Oxford’s popular Farmers Market.
  • Pay attention to signage and avoid parking in yellow zones, yards, or blocking sidewalks as parking restrictions will be enforced as posted on Oxford city streets. Review City of Oxford Parking Enforcement information ahead of your visit.

Nick Offerman Parking on Friday, Oct. 16

  • Parking in the West Millett Hall lot opens at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16. Parking can be purchased in advance through the Miami University Box Office for $20. Parking is $25 at the gate and only credit cards are accepted for payment. There may not be parking available to sell at the gate if sold out in advance.
  • No overnight parking allowed. Please move your car by midnight to avoid being towed.
    Parking purchased for the Saturday Football game is separate and therefore not valid for the Nick Offerman show. Please note that the parking pass is non-refundable and does not guarantee a space in any particular lot.
  • Proceeds from parking sales are used to support free and low-cost cultural and entertainment programming which is available to the campus and the community year-round.

Miami Football Parking on Saturday, Oct. 17

  • Parking for the Miami Football game in the “Gameday” lots (West Millett Hall Lot/Fryman Lot) open five hours prior to kickoff.
  • Parking can be purchased in advance of gameday with your game ticket purchase. Parking is $20 in advance, and fans who have a gameday ticket are strongly encouraged to purchase parking prior to gameday, as parking in the gameday lots may not be available for those trying to purchase at the lot.
  • If parking is available, any remaining passes can be purchased at the lot with a credit card on game day for $30.

The Miller Center

The Miller Center for Student Disability Services can assist in coordinating accommodations for university-sponsored events. For accessible seating or parking, please call the Miami Athletic Ticket Office for assistance at 513-529-4295. Some accessible seats are available online, but a ticket representative will be able to walk you through the best possible solution for your needs.
