Dear Colleagues,

As we approach winter break, I wanted to thank you all for your incredible work and collegiality during this busy semester. It has been an exciting year, with many accomplishments and much to celebrate, because of all of you.

You have demonstrated extraordinary commitment and dedication to Miami and our students throughout the year. Your support of our students and one another fuels Miami’s success and your dedication allows us to continuously advance.

We want to demonstrate our admiration and appreciation for your accomplishments this semester. The regular winter break schedule will begin December 26 and extend through January 2, 2023. As an expression of gratitude, staff will not be required to use paid leave for the unpaid days (December 29 and 30) during the Winter Break closure period; rather, these days will be university paid days.

We sincerely hope you find ways to rest, relax and enjoy the comfort of family and friends over the Winter Break.With gratitude and admiration for all that you do for Miami University,
