Notice: Canva users who signed up with @MiamiOH.edu email address will receive informative message from Canva
University Communications and Marketing (UCM) and IT Services have been working together to improve the sign-on process for the enterprise version of Canva used by many communications and marketing staff at Miami.
As part of that work, an email notification will be sent out by Canva (from no-reply@Canva.com) sometime this Friday, Nov. 21. The email from Canva will state that the account associated with that email address will no longer be affiliated with the Miami instance of Canva. This message will be received by anyone who:
- is part of the enterprise Miami Canva team (which requires training and granted access), or;
- created a Canva account using your @MiamiOH.edu email address.
This email is a legitimate notice from Canva. If you receive this message, you are not required to act in any way. You also do not have to report the message as phishing—again, it is legitimate. This will not change how Canva users access their accounts going forward.
If you are a Canva user who signed up with your Miami email address and you have issues accessing your account after receiving this message, please contact UCM at brand@MiamiOH.edu.
