Cory Rusinek, assistant professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry, received $52,260 from the Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education for a project entitled "Organic Materials for Electronic and Optoelectronic Applications."

Steven Keller and Douglas Coffin, professors of Chemical, Paper and Biomedical Engineering, received $32,706 from Sappi North America for a project entitled "Modeling Bending Stiffness in Paperboards using Structural Imaging."

Dmitriy Garmatyuk, professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, received $38,688 from the Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education for a project entitled "3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) for Radio Frequency Sensing/Imaging."

Maria Weese, associate professor of Information Systems and Analytics, received $26,340 from the National Science Foundation for the project entitled "2026 Quality and Productivity Research Conference."

Sharon Burkett, sergeant in the Miami University Police Department, received $27,560 from the Ohio Department of Public Safety for a project entitled "2026 Body-Worn Camera Grant Program."

Jennifer Green, associate clinical professor of Psychology, received $19,200 from the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, pass-through funds from the Department of Health and Human Services, for a project entitled "NIH-CCHMC, Center ADHD, Green."

David Berg, University Distinguished Professor of Biology, received $15,000 from the BioSurvey Group, pass-through funds from the Ohio Department of Transportation, for a project entitled "Evaluation of Environmental DNA (eDNA) Metabarcoding as a Tool to Support Freshwater Mussel Survey Efforts in Ohio."

Hannah Sanders, associate director of the Wilks Institute for Leadership and Service, and Rebecca Young, director of Student Wellness, received $10,000 from the Allstate Foundation for the project entitled "Miami Greek Leadership Microgrant Program."

Sarah Watt, associate professor, and Briana von Mizener, assistant clinical professor of Educational Psychology, received $9,999 from the University of Cincinnati, with pass-through funds from the Ohio Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Education, for the project entitled "Building Coherent Systems of Support: Embedding IMTSS in Undergraduate and Graduate Educator Preparation Literacy Core."

Beth Rimer, director of the Ohio Writing program in the Department of English, received $5,500 from Community Initiatives for the project entitled "2026 NWP American Creed Grant."
