The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (OIRE) supports the university's planning and decision-making processes through the analysis and dissemination of information about students, faculty/staff, and finances as well as through the administration and analysis of institutional surveys and research projects. OIRE serves as a resource for all Miami University campuses.

The CDS is used to provide data for college guidebooks, rankings (e.g., U.S. News rankings), and other external requests. Restricted to the Oxford campus, the CDS provides limited data related to: Admissions, Degrees, Enrollment, Faculty & Class Size, Graduation & Retention, Tuition & Financial Aid, Academic Offerings, and Student Life.

First Destinations (Alumni)

The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness provides annual summaries of the educational and career placements of alumni who graduated during the previous year.
