Marcia England

Biography

Marcia England, Ph.D. received her undergraduate and Master’s degree from the University of Washington with a B.A. and M.A. in Geography with a focus on feminist geographies of mediated spaces. She received her Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Kentucky with specializations in social theory and policing of public spaces. Dr. England has been with Miami since 2007, and in addition to being a faculty member in Geography, she has served in CAS as Chair for the Department of Geography.
