Janet Yenter
Janet Yenter serves as Director of Community Engagement at the International School of Denver, where she oversees all events and community engagement programming for a multicultural, multilingual pre-K through 9th grade community. In this role, she has reimagined signature events, incorporating experiential components and artistic programming that celebrate the school's unique multicultural community.
Janet brings extensive experience in alumni relations, donor engagement, special events, and strategic programming from her work in higher education. Most recently, she served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Alumni Engagement at the University of Denver and has also held leadership positions with the Colorado School of Mines Foundation, University of Colorado–Boulder, and Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Prior to higher education, Janet worked in performing arts administration, planning large-scale fundraising galas and managing boards and volunteers for organizations including Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Ravinia Festival.
A proud Miami University alumna, Janet earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a minor in Arts Management. She currently serves on the board of Inside the Orchestra as Vice President and Marketing & Events Committee Chair. She resides in the Denver metro area with her husband, two kids, and an ill-mannered Doberman puppy named Reggie.
