Mat Bisher
Mat Bisher is a 1997 graduate from Miami University with a Bachelor›s in Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. While at Miami, he was the President of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity and completed the Laws Hall and Associates program in London, which introduced him to his professional passion—advertising.
After 20+ years in the business and leading the creative department as the Chief Creative Officer at the ad agency DDB New York, he now directs the largest creative group at Chicago ad agency, Leo Burnett. Before Leo Burnett and DDB, he worked at other global agencies such as BBDO and McCann as an Executive Creative Director and has led iconic brands in almost every category, including Bank of America, Microsoft, U.S. Army, New York Lottery, Verizon, MasterCard, Chevrolet, Kroger, Lockheed Martin, Jose Cuervo, and Nature Valley.
Throughout his career, his work has been highly awarded by industry organizations, including Cannes, The One Show, Design & Art Direction (D&AD), Webbys, AICP Awards, Clios, Andys, and Communication Arts Awards. He has also been invited to judge several of these industry creative award competitions, including D&AD, The One Show, and the London International Awards.
This Miami graduate now lives in Lake Forest, a North Shore suburb of Chicago, with his wife of 20 years, Gail, daughter Peri, two dogs, and a parrot – all of whom are not impressed.
