Scott Robinson
Scott Robinson is a Principal and Senior Architect at global design firm Populous, based in Kansas City, and brings nearly three decades of expertise to his work in creating sports and entertainment venues. With a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture from Miami University, he is a licensed architect in Arizona, Illinois, and Missouri, and holds certifications from the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and the International Association of Venue Managers.
Robinson’s work spans university athletic facilities, mid-sized civic arenas, and major professional NHL and NBA venues. He views every arena as the “living room” of the team, community, or institution it serves — a space that should feel integrated into everyday life rather than simply a venue for event days. His portfolio reflects this philosophy, rooted in listening closely to the identities and aspirations of each client brand and translating them into built form with vision and nuance.
