Ben Lazar

Biography

I've been a passionate climber and outdoor enthusiast since 2017. I've served in a variety of roles in the outdoor recreation field from trip leading, challenge course facilitation, to managing a climbing facility in campus recreation. I joined Miami in January 2024. My primary outdoor interests are in climbing, downhill skiing, and mountain biking.

Why I Love the Rec

I enjoy seeing learning take place when students are introduced to climbing. I'm happy to see students pursue and achieve their goals in climbing. I feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that I can help facilitate student's learning and achievement of their goals.
