Doug Curry

Biography

I went to Miami and graduated with my Master's degree many years ago. After graduating I worked for the YMCA's in Clearwater Fl and Atlanta Ga before coming back to Miami in 1995. I have had many roles here at Miami, all with an emphasis on serving the students, faculty, staff and community. The commitment to high qualtiy staff, programs and facilites continues through the years.

Why I Love the Rec

Working at the Rec is a hobby for me. I love interacting with different campus groups and programs and providing sporting outlets for Miami University students, staff, and faculty. It's super gratifying to assist student in learning and development.

Favorite Rec Moment

Officiating a soccer game in the rain and when my staff purchased t-shirts without my knowledge that stated " I get paid to watch you play sports".
