“Why Miami?”
“I chose to attend Miami University’s Physician Associate Studies Program because of its commitment to serving rural communities. Through my shadowing and previous healthcare experiences, I have seen firsthand the challenges patients in rural communities face when attempting to access health resources. Miami’s focus on rural medicine, along with its mission to develop well-rounded and compassionate clinicians, closely aligns with my goals as a future healthcare provider. This is supported by the welcoming sense of community. The faculty truly values each student’s success and has created an environment where I can grow both academically and personally. I am looking forward to advancing my medical knowledge and clinical skills throughout the program.”
