Give to Miami Regionals & CLAAS

Your Support Matters

At Miami Regionals and the College of Liberal Arts and Applied Science (CLAAS), the will to transform tomorrow begins with an education that inspires us to make our world and communities better every day.

It is only with your help that we can make college affordable and within reach for all who want to build a better life for themselves, for their families, and for their community.

With your support, we can achieve our vision of…

empowering minds and

strengthening communities.

Your gift makes a difference and has a tangible impact on every Miami Regional student every day.  We can’t thank you enough!

Areas of Support…

Behind every gift, there is a story – a personal reason to give back.

Maybe it is to help keep our campus infrastructure strong and viable into the future.  Or to provide students scholarship support so they can stay in school. Maybe it is to get faculty the academic tools they need to provide the best educational opportunities. Maybe it is a way to say thanks for your own Miami Experience – enhanced by a special program, scholarship or guidance from a faculty or staff member who helped pave your way to success.

Campus Support

Gifts can enhance buildings and the grounds for each of our campuses in Hamilton, Middletown and our Learning Center in West Chester. Or support the greatest need by giving to the College of Liberal Arts and Applied Science fund. Your support makes a difference in keeping our grounds and buildings maintained and poised for future growth! The disc golf course in Hamilton and the nature trails in Middletown provide access to the campus for community members, and exposure for future growth.

Scholarship Support

Scholarship donations have a huge impact on the lives of students, their families and our communities. There are scholarship opportunities that are merit based, needs based, program or degree specific.

A special type of scholarship, the emergency needs fund, is a critical lifeline of support that provides immediate aid to students whose status as a student is threatened as a result of unforeseen circumstances.

By giving to the Emergency Needs Fund, you are helping to ensure that even in these uncertain times, students at Miami can come here to pursue a transformational education and leave here empowered and inspired to change the world.

If you would like to set up your own scholarship, please contact the CLAAS and Regionals Office of Advancement at 513-727-3463 or Yvette Kelly-Fields kellyfy@MiamiOH.edu.

Academic Support

Your gift to academic support goes directly to the classroom -- to impact research outcomes, purchase needed supplies, fund conference attendance, just to name a few.  If there is a faculty member who impacted you while on campus, or impacted your student, this is a great way to thank them for making a difference in your life or your student’s life. Gifts to the academic departments are greatly appreciated to help faculty and staff be as effective as possible in the classroom.

Program Support

While students are on campus, they can explore an array of services, programs, and experiences to enhance their learning and well-being to develop skills in being a confident learner, engaged citizen, and active leader.  Miami Regionals also offers alumni and community programming.

Give to support Miami Nursing at the Clinical Health Sciences and Wellness Building

The demand for nurses is projected to increase more than any other profession due to the increased care needs of the aging population and the anticipated retirement of seasoned RNs in the field. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a need for over 1 million new nurses in the next decade. This industry will add more jobs and any other occupational group between now and 2030.

Miami Nursing is answering the call and offering an invaluable experience for students in obstetrics, mental health, pediatrics, rehabilitation, and community outreach to name a few.  There are so many opportunities with careers within one career.  Labor and delivery, pediatrics, older adults, legal nurse consultant and advanced practice nursing -- the sky's the limit for Miami nurses!

To provide a learning space for our nursing students to learn and grow, comes a need for innovative technology, state of the art simulation lab spaces and collaborative work areas.  The Clinical Health Sciences and Wellness Building provides that and more!

We need your support with gifts to help keep these areas outfitted with the latest in technology and learning.  You can name an office space, lab, collaborative work area, and your funds will provide ongoing maintenance, upgraded software and technology to keep this a state of the art learning environment.

Awards

Awards are given to students who excel in their fields, and provide recognition for their hard work. By supporting these awards, you can help recognize student leaders who are making a difference.

Athletics

Your gift provides experiences and opportunities for our student-athletes, helping them achieve their goals in the classroom, in competition and in life.

MoveInMiami Day of Giving

Save the date, August 22, 2024 for Miami University’s Day of Giving - #MoveInMiami is a university-wide campaign held annually in August as Oxford students move to campus and Regionals students prepare to return to their classes.

Support for #MoveInMiami has had a significant impact in supporting students. It helped provide emergency funds to enable students to stay in school, support for veterans’ services and a multitude of student organizations, and funds for important wrap-around services in the library, computer, career counseling, and other key areas.

Any amount counts!  Our goal is to beat last year's results of 382 individual gifts totaling over $122,000!  It is only with your support we can make this happen.  Thank you for checking in during this special time of year to show your support!  It is greatly appreciated!
