Teaching and Interests

Allison Bokone received her B.S. in Computer Science from Ohio Northern University and her Master of Software Engineering from Seattle University. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership at Miami. Prior to joining the CIT department, Allison worked at Microsoft for 18 years as a developer documentation writer and program manager across Azure DevOps, Office, Windows, and Xbox.

Her research interests include how to leverage technology and new approaches to education to help autistic students – particularly girls – be more successful in school. She is also interested in technical writing, DevOps, and gaming.
