Welcome to the Fantastic Free Fridays program at Miami University Regionals' Middletown campus. This program is intended to provide free opportunities for students in area schools and residents of local communities to enjoy live performances.
- Each performance lasts one hour, unless otherwise stated.
- Group reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Individual walk-ins are always welcome.
- All performances are held in the Dave Finkelman Auditorium at Miami University Middletown.

Lexington Children’s Theatre: The Princess Who Lost Her Hair
Feb. 13 at 10 a.m.
After refusing a weaver bird’s request, Princess Kalendi loses her beautiful hair and brings drought upon her kingdom. A kind beggar named Muoma sets out to find the bird and, through acts of compassion, earns a magical seed to help the princess. As Princess Kalendi learns to nurture the plant, her hair and the kingdom’s vitality are restored, leading her to recognize the value of empathy and selflessness.

River City Puppets: The Wonders of Wiggly River

Join an adventurous fisherman and a chatty wish fish as they dive into a world of enchanting folktales! With a cast of fantastical puppet creatures, they unravel the mysteries of a misunderstood river monster. Together, they discover that true friendship lies just beneath the surface, waiting to be found in the most unexpected places.

My Nose Turns Red

Celebrate circus arts—juggling, acrobatics, unicycling, clowning, and the amazing German wheel—during a one-ring, razzle-dazzle review of everything My Nose Turns Red Youth Circus has been teaching youngsters across the Tri-State for more than 40 years.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park: The Tortoise and the Hare
May 1 at 10 a.m.
A fresh adaptation of the one of the world’s best-known fables! Does slow and steady really win the race? Hare believes that speed is the way to win, while Tortoise believes that consistency is the key. Even though they have been pitted against each other for centuries, Tortoise and Hare will find that the only way to win the race is to work together, using their individual character strengths and teamwork to overcome the obstacles and challenges in their way. This new play with music puts a contemporary spin on a heartwarming and gripping tale for audiences of all ages.
