COVID-19 Guidance for Fall 2020

At this time, Student Activities and the Cliff Alexander Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life's physical offices in the Armstrong Student Center are closed in accordance with the precautions being taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19. 

The Office will reopen on July 27, 2020. Meetings with staff should be scheduled in advance and conducted virtually if at all possible. Please email the staff member you wish to meet with to schedule a virtual meeting. In person or face to face meetings will be limited to 2 to 3 total people and must be scheduled in advance.

Traffic flow into and out of the office will be limited and we ask that you follow the signs directing your entrance and exit routes. We ask that you enter the suite through the main entrance to the Leadership Library. Please check in at the reception desk in the library. If no one is at the desk, please call the number on the sign posted there. 

Only a limited number of people may be in the reception area leading to staff offices. If you are coming to the office to retrieve packages or other items that may be located in the office, please check in with the desk staff in the library or call the posted number before entering the main office.

Email accounts are monitored from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Interfraternity Council

Presiding over 23 fraternity chapters here at Miami, the Interfraternity Council works to enhance leadership development, and build men for the future. Featuring a 10 man Executive Council elected by their peers, the IFC Executive Council hosts many programs and events throughout the year in coordination with the chapters on campus.

National Pan-Hellenic Council

The National Pan-Hellenic Council is the governing body of Miami's traditionally African American fraternities and sororities. NPHC organizations are unique with respect to other Greek letter organizations in that they have continuous commitment to providing community service and to uplifting/promoting the general public welfare.

Panhellenic Association

The Panhellenic Association is the coordinating body for activities that promote the common interests of all sororities on Miami's campus. The Panhellenic Association offers a wide variety of programs for members ranging from health issues to sorority sports, educational programs to community service activities.
