The Workday Registration Management Demo is Live

The Workday team has officially released a Registration Management demonstration, which you can access in Workday Learning by clicking the button below.

Access the Demo

The interactive, hands-on demo showcases key functionality and upcoming changes. The self-paced demo takes approximately 25 minutes to complete and can be paused and resumed at any time without losing progress. Please note that this is a demonstration, not training. Structured training opportunities will be offered at a later date to ensure you feel confident in the new processes.

Who’s Impacted?

If you are someone who supports the course registration process, this demo is relevant to you. Administrative Support Staff, Academic Advisors, Deans/Assistant Deans, and Department Chairs should pay close attention to the new workflows and procedures introduced during the demo.

What’s Covered?

In Spring 2027, students will use Workday to register for courses, which means faculty and staff will need to be prepared to support them with the transition. Below are the topics you can expect to learn more about within the demo:

  • What’s Changing from Banner to Workday
  • Registration Process Workflow
  • How to Handle Common Registration Challenges
  • Tools to Support Registration Success
  • Restrictions and Override Types
  • Registration Management Dashboard
